Locust Grove Farm - Farmstead Sheep's Milk Cheese

Picked up some of Locust Grove Farm's Sheep's Milk cheese while we were in Knoxville. The farm is located in the area, but we pickedo ours up at Three Rivers Co-op (a nice little place, highly recommended). The cheese is delish.

We got the galloway and the cumberland. I liked the Cumberland better. It's seasoned with pepercorns, garlic and ginger. The base cheese is their La Mancha, which I really want to try. I think it falls somewhere between a good imported cheddar, and a good chunk of parmesan. I don't have the cheese vocabulary to describe it, but trust me, it's good!
