First Friday Treats

Tommorrow is our First Friday Feast - sort of monthly potluck that we do in our area. This month's theme is Valentine's Day, so I made some heart shaped sugar cookies. But it didn't seem like enough, so I picked up a package of these tonight:

Quoting from the package we see that:

It comes to us from Taiwan. I ask you, how could I pass them up? After all, not only are they "today's most stylish snack food", but the also "to match your taste". Oh, and the side of the package contains the strangely Homestar Runner-esque tag line "everybody's elegantly". I wonder if they have t-shirts?

PS: This desert is prominently labelled as "vegetarian". That's a big selling point for just about everyone here in the US, especially after all those people who'd been eating yogurt covered chicken livers came down with the bird flu.
