I don't really understand what Scopitones are, or why they ever existed, but I think I've got a new favorite song -My Teenage Fallout Queen. Scopitones, what are they? I'm not really sure. Some sort of video vending machine from the 60's? Evidence of a mid-60's alien invasion of europe (as postulated by Ster)? Or something even more inexplicable? In any case, you can look them over 'here. I highly recommend downloading "My Teenage Fallout Queen" by George McKelvey. OBviously recorded as a gimmick song, but still way, way weirder than it has any right to be.
