Months, maybe even years ago, I put out the word: "If the owners* of this photograph ever wish to part with it, let me know." That day has come, and I've been blessed with the item as a GIFT! Let me set the stage: its about 27" x 40", plus a wide oak frame. It's slightly battle scarred: a slightly darkened area here, a scratch there. In the bottom right hand corner is a tag: Photographic Illustrations, Pohlman Studios, Inc., Milwaukee, Wisconsin. And its... well gaze upon it and be awed...
* The owners are the parents of our wedding kumovi. Thus far, everyone involved is a bit - nonplussed- by my desire for this. I simply find it magnificent on so many levels, I can barely stand.
