Laugh out loud funny

So, I saw Revenge of the Sith last night... Overall, I'll agree with other reviews I've seen. The first half was kind of slow; the second half picked up and was quite enjoyable. BUT, there's more. The acting in the first half was terrible, especially Anakin and Amidala. They were terrible! Wooden beyond belief. Their action and the plot movement picked up in the second half, leaving an overall impression of a solid movie.
The other problem I had was the recurrent need to laugh out loud. I never expected a Star Wars movie to be laugh-out-loud funny... and I don't think Lucas realized he was doing it. For instance, was I hallucinating, or did the Wookies make Tarzan sounds as they attacked the droid army? And the worst was the line from Obi Wan. Something along the lines of: "Only the Sith speak in absolutes." Of course, that sentence speaks in absolutes so, in a way, Obi Wan was identifying himself as a Sith. So, I laughed out loud and, of course, it was a quiet point of the movie. Well, the young boy in the row ahead of me turned around and gave me the angriest glare I've ever received in a movie theater, worse even than we got in my high school days when we'd bring the fixin's for Strawberry shortcakes into the theater. Reddi Whip is difficult to hide in a quiet theater, let me tell you.
Anyway, a pretty good movie, and if there were holes in the connections to Ep4, I missed them. Overall Rating, Three Wookies out of Four.
