If you developed the ability to stop time, I suppose there'd be a temptation to find a place where everything seemed perfect and to just stay there. Those in your old life would quickly report you missing. Meanwhile, spending days at a single point in time, you'd age more quickly than those around you. Soon you'd be so much older than people expected that you'd be unidentifiable as the same person. I wonder what percent of missing persons cases can be attributed to this dynamic?
