Geez, I'm getting old.

It really hit home yesterday just how old I'm getting. While at work, I was invited to a co-worker's going-away happy-hour-type event. As I was responding that I would attend, I was thinking "Hmm... Thursday night... I won't be able to stay long, I've got to go grocery shopping." Grocery shopping. Sigh.

Then, on the way home, I was very excited because I had stopped off to pick up our new bowling balls. The first one I've owned. And let me tell you, it must be the first ball I've ever picked up that actually fit me! Fit like a glove, it did. Very nice. I'm totally psyched to go bowling this weekend.

Then the big excitement last night: watching the lunar eclipse. And what was the best part of the recent eclipse? It hit totality by 9pm, which meant I could see it and not have to stay up late.

So there you have it. My priorities: grocery shopping, bowling balls, and getting to bed on time. Sigh. What a pathetic creature I've become. Now, I know that I didn't start out all that out-of-control, but... geez. Just.. geez.
