YouTube - Japanese Clips

I cam across a couple of interesting japanese clips on YouTube today, thanks to boingboing. The first is a funny little clip that explains why japanese culture seems so unusual to many westerners. The second is an ad. I don't know what product this ad is for, but it's got a tanuki at the end! How cool is that? The tanuki appears close to the end of the clip on YouTube. It looks mostly like a raccoon, except for a couple of obvious differences.
