The pics at left are the kidney stone they pulled from the girl. They pulverized the edges with the laser, then pulled out the big chunk you can see in the lower pic. It looks very crystalline, doesn't it? Based on that, it's low radio-opacity, and my certification as an iMD (internet Medical Doctor - I specialized in google), I've identified this as a Uric Acid stone. Not sure if that'll mean anything more than an prescription to "drink more water." I'll leave that decision to the non-internet MDs.
