Sky-scraper

On wikimirror, the definition of Sky-scraper has a list of tallest building in the world based on roof height. It lists the Milwaukee City Hall as tallest from 1895 to 1899. Apparently, whichever two beat us out during that time were measured based on ornamentation, not roof. Also note that it's the second-oldest once-tallest building still standing. (Go ahead, read it again, I'll wait...ready? OK). So, I propose starting a petition to demolish the St. Pancras chambers in London so that the Milwaukee City Hall will be the oldest once-tallest building still standing. That'd be a sort of honor, wouldn't it?
