Bejeebers

Today is Grandpa's 84th birthday, and we were celebrating over at the house. Middle brother (MB) and his family(wife and son) were there, as were my parents and maternal grandparents. Youngest brother (YB) was not there, there having been an apparent mis-communication during the planning of the event. A mass of chinese food anchored the festivities. Later, there was furniture rearranging and olympics watching. Finally, it was time for me to go (TK and TW had left earlier, for TK had a dance performance at the church). I started up my car and began brushing off the snow which had fallen as we celebrated. Glancing up at the dining room window, I noticed MB's son watching me out the window, leaning on his arms, cozy in his blue pajamas. I waved, but he didn't move. He's just over two, so that wasn't unusual. I continued brushing, then glanced back at the window. He was gone. It was at this point that I realized MB's son had not been wearing blue pj's. In any case, a quick chat with those still inside informed me that he had not been in the dining room while I was outside. There were no other children at the house, and no one was wearing a blue top. I'll not hesitate to say that I'm a bit freaked by the whole thing. If not MB's son, who (or what) did I see?
