Whew! What a weekend!
Amazingly, we finished setting up TK's new room with the new loft bed (with the built in desk, very now). More importantly, when we moved her to the new room, we had to dump all of the computer and guest bedroom stuff into the family room. Well, we got it all moved into TK's old BR (now the spare room/computer room/ guest BR) in time to clean up the family room for TK's birthday party. Whew! Party went off without a hitch. Whew! Better yet, when the mail arrived, it included a package of Perplex City cards for me to distribute about the area! Yay! I was selected! I proposed distributing them throughout local geocaches, and they apparently liked the idea. Of course, they sent me so many cards that there's virtually no way I could distrubte them all in geocaches. I may need to expand my net a bit. THEN, this morning, I saw that my genographic results had been posted. Downside: the results from the twelve loci they examine were indefinite. They place me into the Haplogroup K family (Mutation M9 - which indicates my ancestors left africa about 40,000 years ago,but not much else), but it isn't anywhere near conclusive. So, I decided to export my data to FamilyTreeDNA, and then spring for the extra $60 to have my haplogroup confirmed. Sheesh! You'd think I was rolling in dough, wouldn't you? Oh, and TK got a GameboyAdvance for her birthday, so I might just pick up a game to play on that when she's sleeping. What fun. What evelasting fun!
