"Kippers for breakfast, Aunt Helga? Is it St. Swithin's Day already?"
" 'Tis", said Aunt Helga," 'Tis".

Losing my mind...
So, I'm sitting at the computer, idly checking my email prior to todays scheduled Yardwork Bonanza (R). Suddenly, I hear a video game sound, a recognizeable "SPROING!" which I believe is the sound made when Mario gets a hammer in the old arcade Donkey Kong (OK, its actually, the jump sound). It takes me a split second to realize that a bird made that sound. Yes, a bird. Before I can ponder this any more, I hear a flock of birds fly by, each making a squauk (sqwauk? skwauk? what the hell... how do you spell that?!? anyway) that sounded like Mario advancing one step. I guess I'd call ita a "Wokka". But his was clearly not Fozzies "Wokka", but rather, Mario's. Nature appears to be conspiring to replicate sounds from video games I haven't played in over a decade. Or else I'm mad... Allow me to quote from my new play:

Squawk.
Let me know if you hear any wildlife making the Pac-man sounds. Especially that "ba-roop" sound as he chomps the strawberry.
Geoff
Intriguing beginning to the play. So, how is the broken leg doing, Bart?
